Cream pinkish Acorn wheels.
rwleigh:
Has anybody bought a set of these from eBay and managed to get them bleached or cleaned back to bright white?

Sink:
I had a pair that I bleached, they came up a bit brighter, but no where near white, they are naturally cream, so you'll never get them white :daumenhoch:
That said they looked the part on my lads old school frame
rwleigh:
Cheers Sink, that's interesting.
Did they actully do both white and cream wheels bitd then or were they all cream?
theRuler:
Only the tuffs were whitey white.
The acorns and zytecs were a creamy colour (in comparison)
Bleach may help, but I'd go for dye and see what happens.
rwleigh:
So out of curiosity if you dye them how deep does it get into the plastic, what happens with brake wear over time?
Say i dyed a set green would i end up having green wheels with a cream rim after some use?
