Over the past 6 months or so I have been emailing my local council about the possibility of a small skate park for the local kids........well the other week I got a few replys saying that they have put a proposal together and they are doing a public event this afternoon in my town centre, showing the plans and the proposed site so they can get the views of the local people.
Can't wait to go and have a look! It will only be a small metal park but it'll be on my doorstep and anything is better than nothing
I have made contact with the charity involved and it turns out the guy is a member on here (Stevenage kid) and I grew up in the same area as him. Hope to get involved as much as I can.......if they need any help that is?
But really good that the council have listened to local kids and are doing something about it
