Annodising 2 day
(1/1)
animal:
Took this lot in yesterday morning and had it back this afternoon  Cost me £30 and my time and diesel thats all .
All this is restoration work which we all learn lessons from over time and get varing levels of results in my opinion. U never ever get the factory finish again and have 2 take what u get
Cages were trashed and took me all of Sunday afternoon 2 sort and come out great
Chainring off my Buddy Brummie :daumenhoch:
I think the finishing is great . But u have 2 do all ur own stripping and polishing before it goes in. I have also welded some of these items and now discovered that as it changes the molecular structure that also has an effect on the finish in those areas . But there u go I have learn something 2 day . But well happy with the results as its all resto and saved :smitten:
Just been bodgin in the garage :D Stem and seatclamp now finished with pics in their respected resto threads a bit lower down ;)
I know this is cheeky but I am fookin desperate 4 a good condition pair of 1/2 Suntour XCII spindles . Needs must 4 my resto :daumenhoch:
