Exciting news   :LolLolLolLol:

There will now be a trophy for second place!

1. So i dont have to feel bad about rigging a first place for a mate  ;D (only joking)
2. I have found another cheapy stem so the runner up trophy will be a copy of the top tier of the 1st prize trophy  :4_17_5:

Get cracking guys  :daumenhoch:

Does my Haro salmon x2 wtf count? Its only cost £27.98 to build. 20 for the bike, 7.98 for cables and the rest stuff already had.

My pedals arrived today for my build. They look a bit small  :-\ What do you think...

Do these look like they are too small? They were only 9 quid to keep me in budget.
All I need to do now is dye my Acorn wheels (I'm not looking forward to ballsing that up!), rattlecan my front brake white then put it all together.
Total spent so far £171.10

Just measures a Shimano SX pedal that was sat on my desk. Across the plane you are measuring there it was 10cm. Hope that helps, but ultimately if it looks and feels too small, then it may well be.

Make sure they are proper clean before you dye them, any grease may hold the dye off. A dishwasher cycle is always a good prep i recon  :daumenhoch:

FINALLY i got the frame forks seat post and handel bars back from my mate who blasted them for me. took abit longer than planned but he does them free of charge for me so i dont mind
also got a white dominator seat /front and rear brake calipers/ tech 6 brake levers/ ACS rotor/ also have a sun tour copy seat clamp and pink dia comp brake cables on there way so far i have spent about £80 so got a little bit left  ;D

blasted and primerd frame/ forks/post and bars.

just got to sort out the crank /headset /wheels/ tyres/ chain/ but getting there hope to get the frame painted in the next day of two.
still not sure what wheels or tyres to get/use . anyone know what spoked wheels would have been standard on one of these. and what tyres would suit
i do have a pair of white 6 spoke raliegh mags but not sure about them .

ahhh the shock  :smitten: good to see her being looked after. Still very interested in this when the time comes to let her go  ;)

Personally i think they look great with white mags. I would go for white skyway utilities if she were mine and budget allowed  ;)

Cant wait to see this done, keep the pics coming  :daumenhoch:
