I think Roger R has his BMX set up to be like his 4X bike ie very long frame and disc brake etc. Personally I think it's more 'BMX' than bolting your feet to the bike :police: :police: :police: :police:

Jeez, it's 2012 not 1982 guys. I bet the riders would probably like to run flatties but if you're on flats and your opponent has foot-retention you might as well pack up your gear and go home. (on a track where lots of pedalling is involved that is)

It's just as much an advantage when manualling and pumping. It's quite satisfying rolling round on an old banger of a bike with flats and beating someone on a ultra light bling bike who's clipped in :daumenhoch:

I don't like them either TBH. Had a few low speed crashes on my MTB because I've needed to put a foot down but was unable to clip out in time. NOT COOL. :LolLolLolLol:
