I reckon they used Tabge forks like they have on the Race Frames, contact the guy who has the one on the museum.
Or i might be able to tell you soon i think i may have tracked down the guy who built these :D

Here is the research piece of history from bitd that I pulled from my cache of stuff. Bitd when I broke my MRD I decided 2 replace it with the freestyle frame or the race frame , which ever my parents came up with 4 my birthday. As things turned out I had something else ::) I repaired the MRD and rode on tho 8) This is why it was ripped from the Mag and given 2 my parents and why it survived ;)
This thread is the bollox cos this is an amazing piece of British history. We really need 2 find more info on these frames ??? They r defo Brit built u can tell from all the welding and the race frame has some vey subtle diffrerences from it America cousin . Would kill for that freestyle frame, shame about the forks :(
Looks like they did other stuff that lends itself 2 other makes ::)
