I read somewhere that ammaco is the uk company that made mongoose bikes for the uk bitd?

Are all ammaco bmx's of good stature or do the do low end bikes as well?

I'm asking because I've just realised my sons bmx I bought him a few years back is an ammaco ;)
It just needs the punctures repaired and away he goes.

I've been looking for a god bmx for him on a budget and there's been one right under my nose lol

markyp:
ammaco were the uk importers of mongoose.mongoose were a usa company owned by bmx products inc, however ammaco were allowed to produce a few models and sticker them up as mongoose such as the wire wheel and the grand prix, other than that if its stickered ammaco then its not a mongoose.the ammaco geese and ammaco bikes in general are pretty much entry level bikes but pretty decent entry level at that :daumenhoch:

HARORIDER:
i was told the ammaco freestylers were made in the same factory as the haro freestylers bitd-a bit like s&m and fit are today  :daumenhoch:

pulsar_stu:
Thanks for clearing that up.

So my sons bmx is a good start then.

As and when he progresses I will upgrade him to something better :)

Jon The Bassist:
'nohj' race an Ammaco in Old Skool class until fairly recently with no problems :daumenhoch:
