vintage stuff.....3-5 years ago few collected it, now getting stuff at a half decent price is really hard as a lot of people are getting into the vintage scene.  5 years ago I built  a 78 Goose complete with motomags for around  £400. Now you can kiss goodbye to over 1k easily for a mint one. And as for vintage se gear i'd say the prices have more than doubled in the last 2 years.

but it does seem the stuff we thought was hard to get hold of and worth the money, now seems in some case's it doesn't command good price's

i know outside people just see money and no love

is it just a case as they see a name and think every thing in the range has to be pricey ?

I buy what I want to put on my bike. I haven't got the time or inclination to buy and sell for a profit. I didn't buy a thing from Shiners this year, I only bought a pair of hubs last year and they are now on my CW 24".

There seems to be a misconception out there by those who are not deeply involved in this hobby that anything BMX is worth a lot of money. At the end of the day it's worth nothing if nobody wants to buy it. As a rule, the sales in this forum are 'reasonably' priced. Some on Flea Bay are so over inflated it makes me wince when I read them. Unfortunately it's not the seller that's in the wrong, as long as people are buying the parts the prices will remain astronomical!

Times they are a stupid :wtf:
