Just uncovered the serial on the frame. NH4088853.

I think ??? raleigh were just too lazy to weld the gusset in...

From what I can gather... these were the likes of the stylers/mag 20s of the mk I burner range, using up what they had around them in the factory... note the straight bars and the squared reflector more commonly found on the mk II. Stickering them up differently to create further interest.

These are perhaps linked more so with lower spec components, and commonly found in the catalogues BITD.

Not sure if that's a ll true but till I know more....

Just speant 2 full days on it... & it's pretty much there. About 20 hours all in... I must be mad !!! :?

Probably build this up as an ultra burner... The finish is pretty good... a few dings here and there but it's original !!! :)
