parts that need special tools

why do companies make a part that needs a special tool then dont sell the tool :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

need to remove the drive ring/ratchet ring from 3 hubs, 1 for bearing replacement, 1 for drive ring/ratchet ring replacement and 1 so it can be stripped and re-painted

all three hubs use the exact same tool, ive contacted all three companies who point me in the direction of shops who have the tool and can remove the drive ring/ratchet ring

but when i tell them i want to buy the tool and do it myself they say sorry we dont sell it :uglystupid2: :uglystupid2:

only other option is to pay £35 and buy it from aussie land
