Do I powder this survivor GT performer? Now finished page 2:)
GavinDavis:
Thats sweet!! Did you leave the bearing cups in the bb when it was powdered?
That Swan Guy:
Got to love a blue Performer but sort out that seat clamp! It should be at the top of the tube!
threaders:
Fitted the crank and chainwheel today and put the hutch mags on to see what it will look like :daumenhoch:
I did leave the beaaring cups in for the powder as I am a lazy bastardo, plus is probably not going to get ridden :-[ I dont want to shift the seatclamp as it might mark the powder, so it will have to stay where it is unfortunatly :)
Its going to have a lot of different makes on this build so far, I have hutch, Odyssey, tioga, dia compe, GT and Skyway, it wasnt intentional, I was just watching my budget and these were the parts that came up cheap :daumenhoch:
GTnumber1:
one of my fav GT colours that :4_17_5:
why 86 and "pro" decals? :police: :)
threaders:
I know about the decals, but they were cheap from the states at £15 all up and they were original and not repo's. Also del couldn't help me out this time, and didnt want to pay the £50 that ultrahive was charging ;) I am i tight arse and am always looking for ways to save if possible :) Its made me realise and admire how much effort, time and money goes into some of the buids on here, which end up being era correct or factory spec ect, dont think I could manage that just yet :daumenhoch:
