Why do BMX wheels

Have 36 Spokes  ???

MTB's have 28 or 32 and thats on some of the mental DH bikes  :crazy2:

So why would you use a 36 spoked wheel for say a new school race bike  :-\

I can sort of go with it on a freestyle bike  :-\

Anyone  ???

2x31 = 62.

62+8 = 70.
