First build - Wife's B'day present
CustardLips:
My 1st proper build ( after my GT Interceptor rider which was more of a clean up operation ). Seen this Powerlite on ebay which was only 10 mins down the road so thought fcuk it i'll go for it ( never even heard of em' BITD ). Won it for £36 ! Was just gonna clean it up and change a few bits and have it as another rider or summat the missus could ride if she fancied coming for a ride with me and my lad.
Looked like this when i got it !
Then thought i'd smarten it up for her. Thought yellow f&f with black and chrome/silver bits but struggled for months to get the correct stickers for it. Then these came up on ebay so decided a colour change was in order.
Got these Araya Aero's off Adam (AKGOFF) early on this year with no real plans for them !
So white with black and chrome and a splash of red was the way forward.
Here it is:
OG parts are the f&f, headset, bb, chain, seatpost (re-chromed) and seatclamp.
I know they're pretty low end but i must say i've had a great deal of enjoyment from the whole restoration thing. "What's next" !
Thanks to SBD for powder coat
AKGOFF for rims
twesnik for GT bars
