oops, sorry,my appologies for this, too many hours counting the turns on spokes, frustration, and cans of stella :-[
after another look this morning-
. the spokes seem to have a 2 mm difference in them between front and back as the hubs are slightly different diameter
. my original wheels seem to be 4x ??
. the white spokes have some powder over some of the threads so the nipples dont screw right over them as they do on the original spokes
. im thinking if i got a dye to clean the threads that would sort this as if i place the leading spoke in for a 4x then it looks as if all the nipples tighten up this should work ?
what size is the dye i need
is it s 2mm dye ?
thanks for the help 8)

thanks for the help guys
i got them done, the original wheels were 4x and the new spokes i bought had some powder coating over the threads so they wouldnt tighten up first time round
i had to clean the powder of the remaining threads - to do this i got an old nipple and put it in a bettery drill with the bottom facing out and used that as a dye to clean the threads off :4_17_5: i had to go on and off a couple times to clean out the powder
72 spokes later and i was ready to build again ::)
