thanks for the help guys its gave me a few ideas , i would love to dye them is it easy as that, just stick them in a tub with red dye ? excellent if so :)

It's easy, but not as easy as just putting them in a tub with the dye, there is a thread on here somewhere, someone will put a link up. ;)
You need 2 packets of rit dye, some salt, 2 of the large containers of table salt did it for me, a wallpaper steamer that you can remove the square bit off the end, and a large bucket, I got one from B&Q for £8.
Put your rims in the tub with the salt and due, then fill with enough boiling water from the kettle, enough to completely cover the rims, then get the steamer boiling and put the end in the water, the steamer keeps the water at working temp for the dye to work,
You got to keep stirring the water every 20 mons or so. It took me 3 hours to do, but I went from yellow to black, it won't take you so long I wouldn't imagine as they're red already.
Once done then put WD40 or similar on them. :daumenhoch:

The Z Rims when they were new we're always a little bit "faded"
I'd give a good clean first and a wipe with WD40
If they are still not what you want wash em again (to get rid of the WD40)
and dye em :daumenhoch:
Badbaldie:
or sell them to me and get some "red - ies " in your hand >:D
