Exactly, with a v brake it doesnt matter which one you use or how you set it up. Just bolt it on, put the cable through and it will stop you on a dime.  :daumenhoch:

People are racing the 24 as its designed for it. The 20 will be the same. OK it's not a full on race machine like your saw at the Olympics but some of those things look down right ridiculous.

Like you say, each to their own. I had a u brake on my Haro, stopped on a dime, a u brake on my Schwinn, stopped on dime, a pitbull on my Ripper, stopped on a dime  ;-)) Toy
