Oxalic bath question - Pro Lite CC resto..

(1/5) > >>

ED209:
got a nice bath built - pretty tight round the frame ( in a drawer of a chest ) but was wondering if 500g of oxalic acid is enough for an overnight soak... I brought 1kg but want to do 2 frames ...

 :)

midschooljon:
500g is plenty. I only use about 200g per bath and always have great results.

personally i'd use some Matey bubble bath or some lavender bath salts, few candles nice bit of ambient music , maybe a face pack cucumber always works well  :smitten: :smitten:..................... :-X

your better off with a bit weaker solution n let it soak longer ,  don't forget ed it eats rust on the inside too  :daumenhoch:

I was tapping it in gently then it all went ... well nearly all  8)

reminds me of the time my house mate tried to make deep fried potato cakes with instant Smash ... "they keep disappearing when I put them in the oil!"
