safe to use ? or will they kill me !
BENDYCAT ELEVENTEEN:
Was looking at parts for my Goose Trickstar, and was looking at the forks when i noticed some thing strange ? ???
Now the frame has the added frame stand and stand tube on the bottom tube - who did it and why is still a mystery ?
So now i notice that the forks haven't been welded up on the inside legs ? would it not be a bit strange to let some go throught the system, without them being sent back or welded back up ?
now add the fact that the frame was re-welded with extra tubing and the fact that the forks could have been welded up at the same time ???
so was it a rich kid with a dad that knew some one in the bike trade/frame welder ?
was it a bike shop trying some thing out and then sold it on ?
was it some type of prototype - using a '83 frame and copying a hutch trickstar or so a year later and never made into a model
so are they safe to use ?
;)

stuntmaster:
fine just remember you aren`t the weight as you were as a kid so don`t go doing mad stuff on it
Dannywhac:
That's fine - loadsa forks/reardrops are like that - tack welded on the inside. Only started getting phased out good and proper in the 90's.
Just don't go doing any big drop-offs or gaps ;)
Darren KAP:
