BMX1973:

Whats the best / cheapest company to send a frame and forks to Australia.

Would want it tracked and Insured.

I looked in to a similar thing about 6 months ago, tried the usual suspects like parcel2go etc and im pretty sure off the top of my head that the cheapest one was interparcel?

Although the bloke didnt like the £100 postage costs in the end so the transaction didnt complete.

BMX1973:
Tried Parcel Force website and they said £150.

Then went through Interparcel still using Parcel Force and they said £120. Does Interparcel give you a discount if you go through them.

They may do if you go direct with them bud, postage costs may have gone up since i last checked but i know it was a bit mega to get it to oz.  The bike i was asked to post was worth about the same as the postage so its crazy.

Also try transglobal and dhl....its worth checking them all.  Im pretty sure that ater the bloke told me to knock it on the head, i found a quote for about £70 excluding insurance but i cant remember who through?  I would suggest that unless theyre prepared to pay the full cost to insure it in transit then i wouldnt bother, its too risky :(

I sent a frame to Australia via Transglobalexpress about 6 months ago and it cost me £60.
