Has any one frameset or part eluded you for a long time?

I also wanted a ProClass in 1983 so I scratched that itch and had two of them in the end. Awesome bike - took me about 6mths to finish and about 6 seconds to have to sell it when I got a quite large £1k speeding fine..... ;-(

HA HA How fast do you have to go to get a £1000 speeding fine??

It's the maximum they can impose without a ban. I also ended up with the extra point for attending court so have been running 13 points for over 2 years now. Worst was my Solicitor charged me £500+vat as well so an expensive day.
Judge called me a "Serial offender" as i've had 37 points and been to court twice so used 2 of my 4 lives up already..... But when you drive 50k + miles a year like I have for the last 20+ years you need your licence and the law of averages says you'll get caught. Always on the motorway and always late for meetings or rail possessions so at least i'm sensible in urban areas, but who doesn't do 80-85mph on the motorway? Just put it down to a hazzard of my job.....

I've just waited 2 weeks to get hold of a DC890 in Blue, that was long enough because I'm an impatient old fool. :daumenhoch:

i seem to have lost any itch that needs scratching of late, got my nice new school ride, got the three 88 beats i wanted...........very slowly putting them together along with a 86/87 as well...........who knows, once MK13 is out of the way they can all go and pay for a nice holiday to skegness for a few days ;D
