Fair point I guess and I take it on board :daumenhoch:....
.... but the Haro frame is a beautiful, hand made in the USA to exact geometry( am I ever going to get my hands on one of the 14 mark 1 spec frames left that this is modelled on ? ...I don't think so), lovely chrome and limited numbers.... it will not be produced again(according to Dom)
 I'm not loving the fact it's £900.00 either but I'm prepared to take a hit...since the dawn of time us Brits have always had to pay more for US BMX imports....
..it's apples and oranges I guess....

If you are a Kuwi fanboy then it's for you...I'm a Haro man myself so will dig deep where that's concerned....

...in saying that if I could get one of these for £405 then I'd be up for it too...... :smitten:

It's an ugly thing to say but both this bike and the Haro frame will no doubt increase their value over time whatever their price.

from an engineering perspective, it's just a frame and forks, nothing complicated or special trust me. i'm not getting into the worth, just saying it's not difficult to make and as for  hand welded/made, erm, i've no real answer to that, they all are, i doubt any frame set is done on a robot, the one we have would be a nightmare to set up for that job. making a jig is no big task, we make them every day for even shitty one off jobs.

a 5m length of 22.2mm top quality 4130 cro-mo tube is about £20(well it was 3 weeks ago, and they fluctuate by a quid or so weekly) we charge £175 per hour for use of the tube laser, but it does a hell of a lot in an hour. i priced up the tubing and laser time to do 20 nat pro new school cruiser frame and forks plus the mandrel bending. worked out at about £50 to me but i work there. no idea for a business buying said stuff
still might do it fro the crack.
