I need to raise funds to finish my 2 builds and have aquired some grey/silver ACS Z-MAGS dated 1st and 2nd of MAY 1986 and wondered if they are worth anything??

they are not mint but very good rider condition

I know it annoys some people when people ask "how much" things are worth so I apologise to you in advance but genuinely have no clue as to value

I did think about dying them and using them , but it would be a shame if they are sought after??

I bought a pair for 30quid and I've seen really good pairs go for a ton

Loadsa colours in the 80's - they stopped doing (I think) colours in the 90's - only black and white (they were even still making Z-Rims in black in '98).

Didn't ACS make a six 'spoke' mag before the Z-Mags?

Can someone recall?

I'm sure I was running something with six back in 81-82, and thought they were ACS. $:-\$

I never quit riding so no idea what half of the million things that i rode on were anymore :lol:

They are not that rare then!

If no one objects or wants them I may dye/paint them and add some new decals, I can't live with them the colour they are

They'll look better than the repop black skyways I have at the moment on my TRM

Try the dye option first as painting mags has to be a last resort...

Can't see the pic chap, but if they are lavender(but grubby) may i suggest getting them aqua blasted. As they are rarer than rocking horse poo, took me an age to find my pair.

Then a joker on Egay US wanted 800 buck's for a lavender set
