Cleaning brake marks off of ACS Z-Rims?

What's the best way to clean off the brake marks on ACS Z Rims?  The rims are black and the white print is still in pretty good shape for the most part so how do I clean the brake marks off without removing the print?

Anyone have any "sensible" suggestions? (I know I'll get caned for that one  :LolLolLolLol:)

i use the flat edge of a stanley blade around lettering very time consuming but can be effective
