Now this is what I came here for. I haven't seen a decent built on vintage in ages.
That's my favorite StreetBeat color combo.
I hope you don't mind a little criticism from a newb, but I'm a stickler for the little things.
One of my favorite tricks bitd day was surfers/scurfers and you really could not do them with the cables routed over the crossbars like that. Loop them in front and it will look a lot more like a rider's bike.
I would also shorten that rear cable housing a bit. The loop it makes coming out fo the spinmaster looks like it's putting a lot of unnecessary resistance on the cable. I also agree with a previous comment about looping the front cable inside the fork leg for a cleaner look.

Yeah I know I'm an  :Aresehole:
 :)

The rest of the bike is perfect!

I invited negative as well as positive comments so glad to hear a bit of criticism pal.  :daumenhoch:

The dark blue cables are being removed as I have some 80's powder blue ones on there way as I think the colour will suit it better.
Therefore when I refit them I will bear these points in mind. The only thing ill say is that when the rear cable pops out of the spinmaster it is pointing down and so it does need to have a curve in it to make the 90 degree turn to the horizontal.

Glad you like it though.  :daumenhoch:

Cheers steve.

Ha!!! Plinths were put on yesterday, just need to put the up stands on and the skirting boards and that's it!!

It's a lot easier building bikes..  :-\

Ok bit of an update......
Changed a couple of bits on some recommendations.

Re-located rear caliper underneath frame.
Re-routed front brake cable inside fork leg.
Replaced blue brake cables for some NOS 80's powder blue (which is kind of a baby blue and grey mix)
Replaced blue tie wraps for silver grey.
Put front brake blocks on the right way round.  ::)

She's now officially finished.  :daumenhoch:

Steve
