Chain size

Going to run 39/17 on my TA24.
I have noticed you can get 17 freewheel in 17T and 17 wide BMX.Which size is best and what chain size would I need 1/8" or 3/32" ?

17 wide will be for thick 1/2 link, etc freestyle type chains. I would say get a normal 17t freewheel and you could run either 1/8 or 3/32

I have two 3/32 chain in the for sale section. The were both briefly used on my cruiser, now sold, with no problems. lmk if your interested
