on my 85 master they are 24tpi front and 26tpi rear suntiur coaster
on my repops with a coaster... they are 26tpi front and 24tpi rear with coaster....
..have just bought a set half and half which I'm told were 3/8( ie 24tpi) but not sure if fronts and rears were the same ?
bloody hell......has anyone else got a scooby doo ? PLEASE..just getting increasingly confused now... :tickedoff:

Seems like its a bit of a lottery as I have 4 sets of all alloy hubs and they're 24/26, only one set of 50/50 but they're the same.
Heres a quote from Ed - the owner of coloured tuffs?
"95% of all Tuff Wheels out there, including all of my colored Tuff Wheels that I've had made since 2004 are a 26tpi / 24tpi combo. The front is a 26tpi, and the rear is a 24tpi. I'd like to get them all in the 26tpi size, but Skyway bought axles by the millions years ago, and that's what they use...!
-Ed"
Just for info, 3/8 is the axel size as in 10mm not an indication of thread count, so 3/8 24tpi and 3/8 26tpi etc etc

I guess there is one thing you can be sure of though. 1 wheel will be 24T, the other 26T or, both 24T or 26T :D ;D
kalex:
