Help with my GT forks!!

<< < (2/4) > >>

CD17:
Have a word with additup 2004, Im sure he had this same Frame & Forks.
Think he found a way of using them...........I think  ???

aditup2004:
Told you so, told you so  :LolLolLolLol:
Only joking.
The muppet did exactly the same to me, and then he proceeded to send, and charge me, 2 more headsets which were no good.
I bought some shims from somewhere, but I cannot remember for the life of me where I got them. I think it was a mountain bike shop on the tintereweb. They solved the problem, so you can use a standard 1" headset in the 1 1/8" frame.
Sorry I can't be more specific.
I will have a look and let you know if I come up with anything.

you have some of them shims steve, in that ripper frame with the extra weld

aditup2004:
Oh, by the way, I may have a trade if you are interested, but my 1 1/8" forks are black I'm afraid.
LMK, Ad  :daumenhoch:
