Would do Andy but the bars are NOS un-knurled GT Experts and I don't want to fook them up....
The shim holds ok but not enough to bunnyhop down a flight of steps or something daft that i'll end up doing on Wini's ride out in Leeds, so I need to sort it properly as there is no place at my house for show ponies.... ::)
pickle:
You plan on riding the white goose at Leeds then Spen? you sorted the V brake out then ???
I don't know if i'll ride the goose or a beat yet :-\
Spen69:
Yep, the white Retrogoose will have it's maiden de-flowering at Leeds Rob. Far too many NOS bits on the beatch that need scratching.....
Oh yeah, forgot about that V-brake. Bloody modern tech..... Best get that fixed too :2funny:

:LolLolLolLol: remember you need to split the cable with stoppers on the top tube to keep the cable tight :daumenhoch:
BENDYCAT ELEVENTEEN:
what about using some thing different than a "metal" shim not to damage the bars - surely when tightend it will leave slight marks ?
