Borrow a Detail Sander off someone nice - like uncle Spen, for example - and then work your way down through the Grits to an extremely fine paper; worked a treat on the ones I did, and removes nicks and scratches etc., too.

To be honest, Dan, they could be a hell of a lot better with more elbow grease, but they got to a point where I was happy, and for my first resto-build I thought they looked OK. :daumenhoch:
