Dont bother getting the chrome stripped first as the brazer can remove what he needs to do the work
then you can send to chromer for stripping & chroming

If I were you I would get chrome removed before any repair
If you sand old chrome off you will remove metal with it and loose
Shape of tube if you are not careful
Metal needs to be as clean as possible whenever welding  ;)
