How to date a Old School Kashimax Aero?

yes, its got a Japenese symbol pointing to the dial on outside which would be a number 11 and a japanese symbol on inside of dial pointing to a number 3.

So whats that mean then?  :-\

I know it must be an old one, as its got KSM stamped seat guts non allen key.

年 = year

Outer should represent 12 | | 3 | | 6 | | 9 | | (December, Jan, Feb... November)
Inner means 80 onwards - so if its pointing to the first marker past 12 that would make it an 81 and so on...

Kahi MX saddles use a different method altogether
