Mongoose Supergoose Bottom Brackets

Hi Guys, first time I`ve been on here so here goes !!

I am trying to find out if there is a difference between bottom brackets for a Supergoose 3 and earlier Supergooses. I have seen some which appear to have the large nut welded to them and others where the nut is seperate, if that makes sense. I read somewhere that they changed the design from 1983 onwards ? I just want to get the right one that would be original to a 1983 US spec Supergoose.

If anyone can help, that would be great.

I'm not sure which one is the early one ? the welded nut as you say may be the early one and then changed to a tange style one ?
