Hey Teacher!(Don't) Leave those kids alone!
factory pilot:
Just wanted to share..... :)
I'm an Infants teacher in Liverpool and teach 5 and 6 year olds. Today linked to our History topic I brought into school my recently finished Neil Ruffell Replica Streetbeat.
We spent all afternoon talking and looking at all things BMX. Using our Smartboard the kids learned all about Neil and Old School Radness. They (and I absolutely) bloody loved it and the bike recieved many oohs, arrrhhs and wows !!
There are now 30 Scouse kids who could explain to you the meaning of the terms one footed Can-Can, Cherrypicker, Boomerang, Quarter Pipe and what King of the Skatepark means :LolLolLolLol:. They can all tell you who Neil Ruffell was and how good he was at tricks. We looked at photos and videos and compared Neil's bike to mine before ending the day doing some fantastic observational drawings of my Streetbeat. It was absolutely mint.....the kids were so excited and interested :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
Our caretaker took some great piccies but as you all probably know I'm not allowed to share them outside school. I will be making a great display though with some blown up pictures of Neil getting Rad and the children's drawings of my bike :)
It really was the best lesson ever !! I'm still buzzing from it now :D :D :D

I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way...
