--- Quote from: markyp on March 12, 2013, 03:59 PM ---wow,rare find joff!!whats the crack with these, were they better/worse than the 280 or pro x???
--- End quote ---
Nearly everything i know about these bikes is in the thread Mark , I get the impression that it was to be the new 280X ..... there's very little info about them . None are posted on the museum and a google search brings back little info :( Obvioously the guy to try and speak to is Steve from Torker or maybe Alan knows a little more about them now . I am determined to try and find out as much as i can about them .
--- Quote from: deeman on March 12, 2013, 04:07 PM ---Nice score Joff!super rare and tasty!and a 20" top tube  :daumenhoch:
--- End quote ---
Cheers mate , the headtube length is were i have a slight discrepancy with Alans , mine measures 19.5" centre to centre . If you measure it front of headtube to the back of seatmast you get 20" ( I have never measured top tube length like that though and would be surprised if Alan had as i always thought it was centre to centre :-\ ) It's something else i would like to confirm with Alan . Im not sure what Rich's measures either but mine is 1" longer than a normal 280X and the same as a Pro X .

Thanks Christian and your spot on mate it did come from Preston :daumenhoch: I had been in talks with the lad selling it for a while , really sound lad . He's had some real nice BMX's in the past but has moved on to the mountain bikes ..... he did say he fancied a cruiser, either a Hutch or a VDC ( I did tell him about Craigs so we will see ). Great person to deal with and very genuine :)
