S&M Holmes frame
G-sport forks and hubs
Disagree about profile cranks, (cracked & snapped loads of arms, they seem to be made to poor tolerances these days too) Shimano DX pedals (must've broke a dozen of these) Pitbull brakes (weak) and AD990's (fiddly to set up)
Mtb u - brakes were better. Odyssey evolver is remarkably similar to Shimano Deore U - brake
Some Profile 'rings look nice, some really turn me off.
GT power series parts
Kool stop brake pads
Tech 77 levers. Classic.
Odyssey power paw grips
D.I.D Chains

what cranks then? GT power series weren't up to it

God knows... I'm no brutish rider, but i've broken everything i've ever had, DB turbos, profiles, redlines, shiitty one-piece (urgh)
Never owned GT ally cranks but seen a few get bent. All old school cranks were poo! Same as rims.
Jon The Bassist:
From experience:
Recent Landing Gears - NO, bent some after a few very gentle nose bonks.
CW bars - not sure, I broke some bitd when I weighed a lot less. Could have been a bad pair though as my dad won loads of nationals and the Brits with them on his cruiser, and he was built like a truck in them days.
To add:
HUTCH STEM - a godsend, made them tiny bikes rideable for me bitd, strong, stiff :smitten:
LOCKON GRIPS - virtually no grips from bitd were up to the job, many felt nice but were not up to serious racing and jumping use. One pair that did work were some ODI ones I got about 89-90 that had a domed end, and built-in metal end cap. Looked a bit like this with a flange:
