dp ladder bars question

dp and Chopper Dude:
Does anyone know what the distance between the two cross bars should be? They look like a narrower distance from the other ones I've seen. Here are mine:

it might be that they just welded them up a bit closer - don't know if they used a set jig back then or free hand

I have to other bars that are the same but the platforms are slightly different when they were welded and it give it a different look to each other  ???

..just measured mine and exactly the same as yours.  From eye:

1) first pic (where they meet on the up bar) = approx. 58mm.
2) second pic, closest gap between two cross bars = approx. 34mm.

Plus mine look identical to yours.
