Peter J:
I remember one of the "bigger boys" at our bmx track had one in white....it looked so much cooler than any other bike
And that's why I love em :smitten:
The day me and my Dad went to J&E James in Chesterfield to pick mine up I was sooooooooooooooooo excited.
hunterdubber:
3 friends had Rippers
2 white ones with black Tuffs :coolsmiley:
But Brian Beveridge had a Ball burnished Ripper . blue Z rims and the Full SE camo race gear , oh yes :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
Thr whole SE deal ,,,,,the frames , the team , the camo. soooo cool
Everybody round our way thought Rippers were the coolest :coolsmiley:
MartyC:
I loved Rippers bitd but they were our most returned frames, always seemed to break at the chainstay behind the bb. I was always impressed by Mike Buffs feats on his Ripper and have to say his rides always looked cool.

think it was all about your riding style and how clumsy you was at landing, theres no denying they were the best looking frames with the best forks... :smitten:
