gyro adjustment and cables and things

hey guys can anyone help me out here??? 
im trying to get my gyro system to work properly is there i set way to do it  ie start at lever and work down or do start at caliper and work up do i adjust cable on caliper with q release open shut somewone help me please  mmmmmmm puzlled

bit tricky to do first time, easy peasy after that though,   important thing is the final tweeks  (steps 10-12 on the instructions) to stop it flipping when you spin the bars.
