Just collecting smaller parts as I see them
So do I not use a freewheel with a coaster ?

i believe not. Coasty on museum is pretty good with tuff-related question and he writes (2008) (http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=45065):
"You would have to cut the rear hub out and replace it with a coasterbrake hub. Theres always hubs on UK ebay." You will also see if there any of the beformentioned COASTER replacement kits available on the bay. If so, it might be possible ----MIGHT---- to convert a (suntour) freewheel cassette style hub into a coaster, using that.
campy hub .... guess thats the square metal flange ..... golden bling? :D Oh man.... you're on a quest :-X ;D, hang in there :daumenhoch:

pics of HARO's hub might be of interest too (it's his 1983 title bike were talkin, right?) ...... who knows, maybe he's got something like a suntour flip-flop style coster sprocket in the end?!? ...... i believe there might be such a thing...? not quite sure. but if yes, there's still the question whether a 1983 Haro could have had it...... rather doubt it.
Dunno, when did the flip-flops start .....1985?
edit:
this is a suntour flip-flop style sprocket (1 in pic happens to be freewheel and 14T)

i've got a spare nos suntour coaster. £150 if you want it ;)
leehunt1:
Think this is the boy i need

Pretty sure Bobs bike wouldn't have had a bolt in rear hub though.
And if you can't find a factory coaster graphite, would you really drill out a campy rear hub to fit one?, I know I wouldn't.
There isn't such a thing as a coaster flip flop hub, nearest you will get is an acs freewheel converter, which allows you to use as a standard coaster, or standard freewheel, fooking heavy, and you still need the coaster specific skyway hub. These were much later in the day too.
