How long is a renthall seat post (Straight Post)

Have one of these stuck in a frame,

Considering either heating the frame or the caustic treatment but wanted to estimate how far it was jammed in.. :daumenhoch:

Can't you poke a measure tape down there to measure then subtract the exposed post from the overall length. ????


If not then something slim and solid so you can slide it down the side, you'll feel the end of the post, then mark the top with your fingers and pull out.
