Cool looking seatclamp

No-one knows what it was, although there's one suggestion it was a hydraulic hose clamp  :LolLolLolLol:

Similar in the knurling way, but not branded like yours  :daumenhoch:

I doubt very much that's a seat clamp , it looks to have a channel cut out opposite the bolt for some reason and if it was a seat clamp surely the branding would have been stamped horizontally  :-\

I think the channel cut is there to relieve stress and cracking on tightening. Well thought out engineering that.
