swapping spindles in pedals

hi guys i just bought some 1/2 pedals that i liked but i only have 3 piece cranks can i swap spindles over  ? do they have to be the same make  or is it as long as there 9/16 spindles they will be ok cheers lee

Done it a few times and pretty simple job as long ad the spindles are the same length. They do vary in profile and length slightly but using ones of the same make is a good place to start  :daumenhoch:

vp500 victor sx copy i think 

TELLIS302000:
A lot of the Wellgo dx/sx type spindles are interchangable etc.

SX copy like pedals are about a tenner from halfords...
