Tap and Die

Does anyone here have a set of Tap and Dies'  ???

If so, can you run a die over a DC brake spindle and tell me which one it is please,

M6 die.. it will be a tad tight though, the spindle has a rolled thread , so the diameter required during manufacture is larger than making a thread by hand.

don't forget, half a turn forward, then quarter turn back and plenty of lube!!  :shocked:
