Was over at a friends workshop today discussing a project i'm helping her with a week on saturday. She is a plastics expert and i'm always pissing around with her heatpress and other machinery trying odball things she rarely gets time to try. I got talking about the potential of pressing some plastic parts  ;) and asked her if she had much in the way of white plastic.
She specialises in recycled stuff and after showing me a huge bag of shredded 50 pound notes from the royal mint she will be embedding in clear acrylic
she showed me she stock of white stuff which wasn't alot and derived from fridge door liners.

Noting i didn't look too interested she said "you could always dye some other stuff white"

Well as you can imagine, this got my attention and as a favour to me she said she would order some stuff and i could pick it up on the sturday i'm working with her  :daumenhoch:

I'm fookin well excited. I dont have a great deal of info as yet but apparently most plastics as well as wood and fabric can be dyed with this stuff so keep your eye on this thread over the next few weeks as i will be doing some trials with mags, seats and owt else i can find  :4_17_5:

Is she FIT..?

oldschoolace:
;D sorry Lee, a lass who knows her way round heavy machinery with a hot body is asking a bit much. I dare say some of you lot would be all over here but she is just a mate to me
