Help is this quad an 80's or reissue?? New development :(
threaders:
What to do here fellas. The guy after a week of having the quad puts this up:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/old-school-se-racing-quadangle-bmx-/251317768480?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item3a83b4d120
Then tonight send me an email stating this:
"Can I have a refund on this item as I have shown it to a few friends and we are in agreement that it's not a mass produced re issue. But it's not an original 80's quad. I think it could be rare maybe a one off but I'm not sure."
I have told him ill have a think. I have said I would be happy to take the quad back and sell it on for £320 and then pay him back from that, but I have a feeling he will claim his money back through paypal claiming an item not as described :'(
Have fun at MK everyone who is going and im still up for the freestyle quad from energiza, but look out for this one on the for sale forums:) Cheers, Jonathan

It's late, but let me check I got the story right..
You sold a f&f on eBay advertising it as an 80s quad
The buyer queried this afterwards saying he might not want it after all because it was a reissue
You provided ample evidence that it was indeed made in the 80s
This is the bit that confuses me...
Then he puts the thing in a new eBay listing himself asking for loadsamoney
But then wants a refund afterwards?
If I've got this right this could be a contender for messer of the year, sorry to hear you're being mucked around but hearing this kind of crap makes me glad I didn't sell my haro on eBay
Prices may go higher but there's always the risk of things going sour
threaders:
He is saying that the quad listed in his listing is not the same one I sold him :-\ I have offered him a refund, but he is now saying he will re sell it as its too much to bother with what with paying return postage ect.
I have worked really hard for my 587 %100 feedback, so would be a little peeved if I get a neg, but I think I will only use ebay for buying in the future and I also dont plan on selling any of my other bmx's unless this quad gets returned.
Thanks for the info and help from everyone :daumenhoch:
