Hi Carl,

Forgive me Brother for I have strayed  :-[.

I have some really tasty idea's with this Ripper build.  8)

I Got round to testing out a few ways of restoring the ball burnished effect to the frame tonight and I have found a very simple way of making the frame look like the one in the link above..... The method took away some blemishes and heavier marks out of the area tested and its even worked brilliantly on the welds without a risk of taking material off those details.......  :daumenhoch:

Snav:
They should be unstamped forks Darren  :daumenhoch:

Stamped forks only came out after the looptail had ended  ;)

He knew that when he bought it Paul  ;)   Think the forks on it are the mid 80's ones , horizontal stamp  :-\

Just remembered Darren ...... I have a full baby blue decal kit for this that i got from the states .... until i changed the colour scheme on mine  ::) ;)

Should look good built up mate  8)

Finally got some time today to start to put the Ripper together, the final parts I have for this one will  be here this week so maybe a chance to get out in the Sunshine on it and maybe just maybe get a chance to do RADTOR 2 on it rather than one of the  Robinson's for a change.... :smitten:

The seat may not stay I only dug this out due to being a good colour match, the chances are I will use a  Kashi covered with Grey Alcantera on this build......

Also has anyone advice on the seat to seat post issue, how have you guys got this to work ?.

Also not totally convinced on the frame finish, I wish I could have made MK to have a look at some of the TOP PK's...

Here are some shots, sorry for the building site....Much to do and little time to do it all...... :LolLolLolLol:
