I got this off him.

Dear ladysman.217,

Hi, to be honest I had no idea they would go for this amount and am a little taken aback! They were originally for my own build but decided not to use them. I appreciate your concerns, and obviously you are someone who has taken time to actually compare them to genuine 80s items. I know if I were prepared to spend that money I would do just that! I must point out that nowhere in the listing does it say they are genuine 80s NOS...

Cheers,
Tom.

Then I got this

Dear ladysman.217,

Whilst I agree now that yes, the listing could possibly have been misleading for some, but the phrase 'old school BMX' is used pretty readily for pretty much any retro or original BMX part these days on eBay. Perhaps I should have written 're issue', but hey. I did think the photos would do the good job, the rubber seals on the modern cartridge bearings are a bit of a giveaway, as is the lack of 'Skyway' stamped mark!

Unfortunately it does look like there might be a backlash now you've kindly pointed it out, which TBF I didnt expect, being a novice BMX builder myself...

Tom.

PK.RIPPER:
In between the two messages I stated that he shouldn't have used the words "old school wheels" and the best thing to do is message the winner and give them there money back unless its rwrightway2009 in Australia

 :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

So he might have done the decent thing or the winner might have been a time waster for some strange reason  :idiot2:
