Mongoose Decals ?

BENDYCAT ELEVENTEEN:
Got another goose in was looking at the decals

seems to be two different styles out there ?

I guess the one's with a solid colour on bikes are the original one's - but I have seen one's that have a metallic look to it (see in pic )

looking at different goose's there seem to be a mix of them

I know Bill at bmx product decals has the solid looking ones - but who did the other sets ?

anyone have any knowledge on these decals - the two sorts ?

The early geese came with foil type decals, be it solid metalic foil or a prismatic foil (depending on model)  like you have on the team .  Bill at BMX products does both types .

The later decals for the cali's etc were printed on clear . Bill has these as well and are top quality  ;).  I have found that some of the none BMX products printed decals on the clear when mounted onto a chrome frame can look wishy/washy , they look like they have lost there colour and are not as defined . They are however fine on a painted or powdered frame .

If in doubt ..... get them from Bill at BMX products  ;)

I know the foil ones from the early stuff up to '83

The wishy washy one's seem to be on the frame above - doesn't look bright enough - think a new set will be on order

I might have a set of Bill's (BMX Products) Cali/expert ones , I'll check at weekend  ;)
