TPI ON NEW SKYWAY TUFFS

OK so I have a few sets of these wheels & i'm wondering what's the deal with the tpi on the axles.

The rears seem to be 24 tip & Skyway Pegs will fit but they don't ever seem to want to fit the front axles.

I also have NOS Tuf Neck Pegs which are 26 tpi but these don't fit either. I discovered this a while back when building my old black DP but never really got to the bottom of it.

Any ideas ???
