One for the GT guys Euro BB Pro content..
BADDH:
Just bought this 1981 Euro BB GT Pro with undrilled forks, a good friend brought this it in from the States earlier this year.
I believe from comments the Euro BB is rare in the GT Pro frame :-\ Would like to know more about these if anyone can pass on information.
I do have some parts lying about for this build, got to decide the colour to go with this build, my other 83 Pro is built using Yellow and Gold Anno, its hard to make the GT build work and be satisfied with a blue or Red colour thrown in there... ;)
1981 Euro BB GT PRO
This is my other GT in the. Collection. 83 GT Pro Nora Cup minus the pads,Sorry its not the best of pics and its changed a touch recently with a GT straight seat post and Rainbow Comp3's...[/b]

This is a rare frame IMO ... i never seen one :coolsmiley:
Looks great , nice built :4_17_5:
Dark Diggler:
What does the top tube measure? centre of seat post to centre of head tube, I'm asking as a euro BB usually belongs to jnr/expert frames of this era :daumenhoch:
Sid1972:
Is it stamped as a pro? 3 or a 4?
Nice frame regardless like, we just need to know if pro or expert. Hence the top tube measurement. :4_17_5:
BADDH:
My 83 GT Pro has the 4 stamped on the drop out which I am told means Pro size and that's 18.5" I think.
The 81 Euro is exactly the same dimensions so I hope to be right.
I have just had them both out they are exactly the same size when placed side by side, seat tube to Head set exactly the same in dimension, also the same dimensions centre of BB to top of seat tube too.
The 83 Has the 4 stamped on the drop out.
One thing I just learned was the down tube from the Head set to the BB is a smaller diameter tube on the Euro BB that on my US BB model too ???
